This KNX module works with the 7" touch panel together like a KNX IP router. How much does KNX software cost? The KNX software is pre-installed on the 7 "touch panel with KNX and free of charge. You can use this software to control the EIB/KNX devices. How many data points are included in the installed smart home software?

Included are 25 data points that you can extend to up to 250 data points. You need a data point for each device. The device counts as a whole. A KNX blind usually has 3 or more KNX group addresses, but is considered in our smart home software only as 1 device and thus 1 data point. You can control/Dim with 25 data points as example 4 blinds and 21 lamps. The 25 data points are sufficient for a simple KNX installation. If you want a little more taxes, buy your 7" KNX touch panel with 50 data points and save on the repurchase of data points.

What can I achieve with the 5 integrated alarm inputs of the INSPINIA 7" touch panel with KNX?

You can connect different detectors to the alarm inputs of the 7" KNX Touch panel. Gas detectors, water detectors, smoke detectors and motion detectors are provided. The alarm inputs are stored in the visualisation software of the Vitre 7" touch panel with KNX as alarm inputs. For example, you can connect a water detector to an alarm input and, if it triggers an alarm, use one of the two integrated relay outputs to control a water valve and stop the water supply.

Has the 7" Vitre KNX Touch Panel microphone and loudspeaker installed and can I integrate an IP door phone

In the 7" touch panel version with KNX, the microphone and loudspeaker are installed. You can integrate compatible IP video intercoms and thus extend the function of the KNX touch panel even more. In principle, any IP door phone can be integrated with SIP server. Unfortunately we were not able to test all models offered on the market, but we are happy to help you with integration. Furthermore we offer the possibility of expansion with a concierge/security centre for residential complexes, multi-family houses and hotels.
