We have been in the project business for over 10 years and are constantly building large-scale projects with KNX. These are small projects in villas up to hotels and residence facilities with more than 200 apartments. We use these to offer KNX cheaply in Europe and Germany and to offer all KNX fans a favorable solution for KNX installation. Every year, we install all the equipment we offer in many projects and know that the devices are reliable. So you can buy the KNX equipment offered by us in a calm conscience and thus come to an extensive KNX installation in a favorable way.

For whom is this KNX package or bundle suitable and do I need additional software to start up my KNX installation?

The KNX package premium is specially designed for customers who prefer a advanced equipment for the KNX installation in their own homes. The KNX package premium has been specially assembled and contains all the components for a favorable KNX installation. In order to start up your KNX installation with the premium package you only need one ETS to program the included KNX devices and can then start immediately. Since more than 20 devices are included in this KNX bundle, you need an ETS Professional version to program the KNX bundle premium. With the ETS demo version you cannot program this KNX package. To get an overview of the ETS you can still download the free version of ETS. For the INSPINIA panel you do not need any additional software for programming.

Is the free version of the ETS software legal and what does the required ETS version cost?

The free version of the ETS is legally usable and is officially provided by the KNX organization. You can also purchase other versions of the ETS software. An overview of the ETS versions can be found on the KNX.org page. It is often possible to buy the lite version of the ETS with which you can program up to 20 KNX devices via the ETS campus. For larger projects, the purchase of the ETS professional, which is required for the premium package, is advisable anyway. We do not distribute ETS software and do not offer the ETS software with the KNX bundle.

What can I control with the KNX package premium in my KNX installation and can I also extend the KNX package?

The four KNX actuator included in the package each have 16 switchable outputs. With these outputs you can switch a total of 64 lamps/devices. The actuators included in the package are KNX universal and switch actuator, so you can also control blinds/shutters with the actuators. Please note that you need 2 outputs to control blinds/rolling shutters. With the included KNX actuators you can control a maximum of 32 blinds. With the actuator included in the KNX package premium You can assign the outputs in pairs. For example, you can use channel 1 and 2 to switch lamps, Channel 3 + 4 for a blind, Channel 5 + 6 for another blind, Channel 7 + 8 for switching devices.... Additionally included in the KNX package premium 10 KNX glass buttons with 4 buttons each. You can place the outputs of the KNX actuators on the buttons of the glass buttons. In the KNX package premium There are also four KNX glass buttons with display and temperature sensor included. With these thermostatic buttons you can automate the heaters and/or climate split units. In addition, you can also control all outputs of the KNX actuators from the 10 "touch panel. We supply the 10 "touch panel panel including KNX visualisation and KNX module. Thanks to the free Smarthome app for iOS and Android, you can access the functions of the KNX wall panel from anywhere. The KNX package premium is optionally expandable by other KNX devices. You can extend it completely independently of the manufacturer. We offer you further KNX packages for an inexpensive KNX installation with different equipment. Please also take a look at the KNX packages "Start", "Start XL" and "Real estate/Villa". The KNX power supply with 640mA included in the KNX package premium is sufficient for at least another 20 KNX devices. In addition, four KNX binary input with 4 input and 4 led output are also included in the KNX package home. With these KNX binary input you can integrate conventional switches into your KNX house automation. The KNX binary input are also KNX binary inputs for the integration of up to 16 detectors (water detectors, smoke detectors, gas detectors, door contacts...) into your KNX installation. The KNX Package premium also includes an IP video intercom which can be fully integrated into the 10" KNX Touch panel and our free Smarthome app.

Can I also change the KNX package premium or omit/Add components in order to adapt it more to the needs for my favorable KNX installation?

The price quoted here is only valid for the KNX package premium compiled here. We offer optional extensions for KNX packages which you can select. If this does not correspond to your desired package for a favorable KNX installation, please contact the sales team directly and let us create an individual offer. Please understand that we cannot offer all combinations of our KNX devices as a package.

For the KNX Package premium also offer the programming and how much does the?

We offer all our KNX bundles including programming by professional system integrators. The programming includes the assignment of the inputs and outputs of the actuators to the buttons of the included buttons and the visualisation on the panel. The programming is not included and must be ordered separately. The programming of the KNX packages can of course be adapted to the wishes of your favorable KNX installation. Should you require an individual programming by a professional system integrator, please contact our support by email.

Please note that we assemble the KNX bundle individually and carefully check all the devices before shipping. Accordingly, we need a slightly longer processing time. If you have chosen the package including programming, we need additional time for programming your package and the extensive tests before the package goes to you on the trip.
