Use the KNX binary input / KNX switch connector with LED output to use conventional switches in your KNX installation.

The 4x KNX binary input has 4 independent input channels. You can connect your normal buttons to the 4 inputs of the KNX switch connctor and then use them in your KNX installation. With the KNX binary input  with 4 inputs you can parameterize the following functions: On/off, toggle/switch, dimming, blinds/rolling shutters, controlling heating, triggering scenes, driving valves....

This makes them very flexible with a KNX binary input. With this KNX binary input you have all and more  functions that you also have with a KNX button.

In addition to the 4 inputs of the KNX interface, there are 4 led outputs available. You can connect the LEDs of your buttons to these 4 led outputs of the KNX binary input to signal the state. Thanks to the KNX binary input you have the possibility to use the complete functional range of LEDs with LED.

You can easily install the KNX binary input into a conventional flush box and mount your switch on it.

The KNX input for push buttons is very flat with 12mm. The length and width of the KNX binary input are also optimized for installation in a conventional flush box.

In addition to the KNX push function, you can also use the device as a normal KNX binary input.

In its capacity as a KNX binary input you can connect to the KNX push contacts and detectors and transfer the status of these devices to your KNX installation. With the function as a KNX binary input you can connect a door contact or window contact to the inputs of the KNX binary input and transfer the state to the KNX bus. This makes the KNX binary input an ideal option to the 5 alarm inputs available on the INSPINIA touch panel with KNX visualisation. Thus, you can also use the KNX binary input as an interface between your detectors and the KNX bus and display the conditions in the KNX visualisation of the INSPINIA KNX touch panel. In this case you will not be able to use the 4 led outputs.

We currently do not carry any KNX binary inputs without led output in the assortment.

Also we only have the KNX binary inputs with 4 inputs in the program. The manufacturer thus justifies the fact that KNX binary inputs are just as expensive in production and that a KNX binary input with 2 inputs has the same price.
